Quinta 4 has the original house and is situated near the top of the property.


The house is 50 years old, made out of (tapia) rammed earth and of very good quality. It can be upgraded and improved at reasonable cost. It is to be kept (not demolished) as it is part of the heritage of the property.

There is a well established plantation with bananas, coffee and many fruit trees with mature gum trees at the front of the property.

There is an open paddock on this property south of the house and another one on the east of the house. This is a fantastic quinta for extensive gardening and food growing.

Q5 is below Q4. It has a northern aspect with great views of the Podocarpus to the east and is suitable for a small to medium sized house. It has lots of trees all around it and is very private.

It has its own access road independent from Q4.

6 (SOLD) Quinta 6 has a large building\living area on a very gentle slope with big paddock already fenced of approximately 1 ha is size.

Q6 enjoys superb views in all directions

There are established trees around the perimeter.

Quinta 7 is a large open mountaintop quinta with great views to the east and the north. It is particularly suitable for horses and grazers in general. It is not flat but has several flat benches suitable for building.

Because it is the only quinta located on the eastern boundary of the property it has easy access to the land further down on the eastern side. Although this land is not owned by Q7 it can be used for grazing (with permission)

8 Quinta 8 is for forest lovers. It is situated in the middle of a pristine established forest where the animals gather regularly. It is a location of peace, tranquility, coolness on a hot day

The building\living area is elevated and has great eastern views to the Podocarpus national park.

Special conditions apply to cover what trees can and cannot be removed in order to preserve the forest. It is imperative that the purchasers of this quinta understand that the forest must be preserved as well as where the building site has to be.

9 Quinta 9 is similar to Q8 and is subject to the same conditions. The best location for the building is on the eastern side where after clearing some shrub and maybe cutting down a few trees, it will enjoy great eastern views.
9B Quinta 9B is similar to Q9 but with a smaller building site. It is suitable for people on a budget wishing to build a small house and have a small garden. The access to Q9B building site is very easy being located at a low elevatin on the property and close to the road.

Mountain-top land with great views to Mandango mountain and Sacred mountain. It has a forest.on it as well. Suitable for small to medium size house.

11 Quinta 11 is the star of the show ! Almost 2 hectares of mountain-top land with 360 degree views to Mandango mountain, Sacred mountain and the Vilcabamba valley. Lots of trees. Large flat building platform on the ridge.. Suitable for medium to large house.Walking distance to the "Magic Forest".Restrictions apply with regard to the height of the house.

Quinta 14 is a totally secluded water-front paradise. It has two building sites, one right by the river and the other one elevated.

Quinta 17 is another secluded water-front paradise, just like Q14. It has two building sites both located right by the river. One is at the end of the private driveway next to the plantation and the other one is upstream.

Quinta sizes range from .2 hectare to 1.7 hectare.

For example Quinta 4 has lots of fruit trees, quinta 1 and 2 are right by the river and quinta 11 has the best views.

Quintas 8 and 9 can have great views if some trees are removed which is the sole decision of the owner (hence the question mark)

Everything is relative though and it is best to come and see for yourself of course.
